Tricia Pezdek
Head of Middle School
Utica College of Syracuse University B.A. Mathematics M.S. ED - Leadership & Instruction for Inclusive Classrooms
With over 20 years in the field of education, I bring expertise in math education from the middle school level through college. At BCD, I have taught 6th-8th grade math and moved into many leadership roles. Math education has always been my passion, and is why I began teaching in 2002.
As my career progressed, I began to focus on leadership opportunities. I began my leadership role as the High School Transition Coordinator and quickly added 8th Grade Dean to my title. After a few years working in this capacity, I broadened my leadership to include Dean of Students and Assistant Head of Middle School. After years in those roles, I have broadened my responsibilities once again in becoming Head of Middle School. Middle school students have a special place in my heart, and this role allows me to work closely with BCD students and teachers during this pivotal time in our students' lives.
In my free time, I love to spend time with my husband and dogs. We love to camp, hike, run, mountain bike, and snowboard. On most weekends and breaks, you can find us outside and loving what the mountains of Colorado offer.
