I have been teaching for over 15 years at various grade levels, most recently in Hawaii. I truly enjoy spending time with my family and attending my children's sporting events. I love reading, cooking, and traveling. Traveling has given us opportunities to experience different cultures, foods, and a true appreciation for the world around us!

Before joining BCD I was working as an Event Coordinator in Boulder and graduated with a BA in Elementary Education from Champlain College. I am really excited to be back in the school environment and seeing great minds at work.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, running, live music and hanging by the river watching the hummingbirds.

After growing up in Austria, I moved to Colorado for college. Sunshine, skiing, and hiking sealed the passion for living here. My husband and I have lived in Boulder for 18 years, we have 2 sons (1 in college/ 1 in highshool), and a Labrador Retriever named Aspen. My last few years have been at a Pediatric clinic. When I'm not keeping up with my highschool son's sports schedule, I love to travel, cook new vegan dishes, and am always looking for the newest dark chocolate bar! I have been in a variety of administrative roles for more than 15 years in various office settings. Prior to BCD, I was a project assistant for a major storm water client in an environmental consulting firm in South Boulder.

In my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking, running, relaxing with a good movie, and spending time with my husband, deaf Australian Shepherd, and long-haired orange tabby.

I spent the 2015-2016 school year working as a Teacher Intern in the Kindergarten classrooms at BCD, in addition to working in Mrs. Hawkes Pre-K class as a Preschool Assistant and an After Care teacher. Prior to working at BCD, I held internships in the Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences field working with Preschool children. I am currently working on my masters in Education and Human Development. In my spare time I love practicing yoga, skiing, hiking and anything fashion related!

I have over 20 years of experience in independent schools starting as Business Manager at Dawson School, followed by 12 years of independent school association leadership. This provided me the opportunity to travel and visit schools extensively in the US and around the world. I also served on the board at Watershed School for 12 years and currently serve on the Boulder Library Foundation Board. I love to play tennis, and hike whenever possible.

My career started in Television, working for a small News/Production company on Capitol Hill. During my 5-year experience I worked in various roles; editing tape, running camera, audio and teleprompters, handling satellite uplinks/downlinks, tape roll-ins and live shots. I participated in multiple studio productions, satellite media tours and covered numerous hearings. I also worked with E! Channel, Inside Edition, CNN and several government agencies. In 2000 I decided that I needed a change and transitioned into the IT world. I worked in the corporate sector as a Systems/Network Administrator for the last 18 years with the Richard Petty Driving Experience, Strategic Power Systems, Inc. and Cimtec Automation. I recently relocated to the area, leaving the East Coast and corporate world behind to join the amazing team here at BCD in beautiful Boulder, Colorado!

In my free time I really enjoy exploring the great outdoors; I’m very passionate about mountain biking and look forward to riding all the amazing trails that Colorado has to offer. I also enjoy movies, traveling, skiing, bowling, golf, tennis and soccer.

I also enjoy reading, walking, and traveling with my husband and two teenage daughters. You can also find me at a CU sporting event, hanging with my dogs or at a local ice cream shop.
