Financial Assistance

At Boulder Country Day we believe that an outstanding educational experience should be accessible to all families.

Financial Assistance Process

We are committed to supporting a diverse group of qualified students regardless of any financial barriers. Our goal is to help remove these barriers to allow guardians to make educational choices based solely on the child’s academic and social-emotional needs.

Please feel free to contact the Business Director or the Admission Office for more information - you belong here!

Can I estimate whether my family may qualify before applying?

Yes. We understand that applying for financial assistance is an important decision, and many families want a general sense of eligibility before beginning the process.

The chart below provides estimated financial assistance ranges based on household income and tuition costs. It is designed as a planning resource to help families understand the types of awards that may be available.

Please note:

  • The chart is intended as a general guideline only.
  • Actual awards are determined through our confidential financial assistance review process.
  • Household income is only one factor considered when evaluating need.
  • Family size, assets, expenses, number of children in tuition-charging schools, and other financial circumstances may impact eligibility.

Many families are surprised to learn they may qualify for assistance. If your family's circumstances are not reflected in the chart or you have questions about the process, we encourage you to reach out to our Admission Team. We're happy to help you better understand the opportunities available.

Estimated Financial Assistance Guide

Use the chart below to explore the estimated tuition assistance range your family may qualify for. While individual awards vary, this guide offers a helpful starting point as you consider a BCD education.

Thank you for the financial assistance that has allowed our daughter to attend a school that puts so much thought into pedagogy and helping students succeed. Not to mention a place she looks forward to going to every day! It’s nice to know she’s in good hands.

Additional Form as Needed

FA Application fee Waiver

New for the 2026-2027 School Year: SSS, our financial aid assessment provider, has implemented a means based waiver for the financial aid application fee.  To request a waiver, please complete the financial aid application.  For families that meet the means based need, SSS will automatically apply an application fee waiver.

If you do not meet the means based need requirement, you will be asked to pay the fee. You may also request the fee waiver directly from BCD's Business Office using the above request form.

Request for Non Custodial (Parent B) Waiver

This waiver is for situations with no contact, unknown whereabouts, or documented abuse/safety concerns, enabling the student to receive aid without the absent parent's financial contribution, with the BCD approval. To request this waiver, please complete the waiver and upload it as an attachment to your application through the SSS system.
