After School

2021-2022 program plans

We will reopen our after school program, After 3 at BCD for the 2021-2022 school year. We know that not having our After 3 program available this year has been difficult for some families and we are hopeful that the changing landscape of COVID along with revised health department guidelines will help us to offer the service safely next year. We are still finalizing details; however here are some of the known parameters under which the program will operate.

Unlimited Usage Billing

We will only offer our unlimited billing program – and require a commitment for the whole year. When structuring the program, we’ve kept consistency along with health and safety, top of mind. In doing so, we will group students into After 3 specific cohort groups and ask parents to commit to the full school year. We will not offer any hourly/drop-in use of the program or in-person after school specialty classes. As in past years, the program will be open on most regular school days from dismissal time – 5:30pm (students must be picked up by 5:30pm). Dates when the program is closed will be posted on our website on this webpage.

Program Cost

The cost of the program for the 2021-2022 school year is $1,800.00/child ($600/trimester). For families with 3+ children, we will offer a discounted rate of $4,500/school year ($1,500/trimester). In addition, families who receive financial assistance over 50%, will receive the same percentage off the cost of After 3. Families will be required to register for the entire year. However, we will work with families who need to space out their payments.

Registration

Registration for After 3 at BCD is OPEN. Spaces are limited and we anticipate waitlists. Please mark your calendars! In the past, some families have used our After 3 program to provide additional flexibility in their household. However, because we anticipate limited spaces, we respectfully request that initial registration be taken only by families who truly NEED After 3 at BCD. If the spaces do not fill, or if we are able to increase our capacity, we will let the community know and will open the spaces to all families. We greatly appreciate your support with this request.

As more details unfold regarding planning for Fall 2021, we will post information to this After webpage.
