After School

No After School programming until further notice

To start the 2020-21 school year and while Boulder County is in the Safer at Home Guideline, there will be no Before Care or After 3 programming. This includes basic after care, middle school homework club, or Specialty classes. Should Boulder transition into Protect our Neighbors, we will entertain the opening of these programs.

Your child’s day does not end at 3:00 p.m. and neither does the educational experience at Boulder Country Day! At BCD we strive to support the diverse needs of our families. After 3 at BCD is an after school program for BCD students only. The program is designed to support working parents and families who need their children to stay at school after 3:00 pm. Our after school program provides meaningful and exciting learning experiences in a safe and caring environment.

After 3 at BCD is composed of two parts:
•  After school program - 3:00 pm - 5:45 pm
•  Specialty Classes (suspended until further notice due to COVID19)

After School Program

Students who participate in After 3 at BCD are supervised at all times. BCD faculty members escort students at dismissal time to our after school locations.

For the 2020-21 school year, students who are registered for our unlimited-use After 3 at BCD will be group in age appropriate cohorts in accordance with health guidelines. The location of those cohorts will be communicated prior to the start of the school year.

• a variety of age appropriate activities, including arts/crafts, cooking projects, science experiments, books, and puzzles
• outdoor playtime (weather permitting)
• snack-time (provided by BCD)
Elementary school students in first through fifth grades will participate in:
