Our Campus

Welcome to Boulder Country Day School.

We invest in our physical space because we know it’s a catalyst for new ways of thinking. Our 6 building campus is thoughtfully designed to promote well-being, inclusion, and a sense of belonging both physically and emotionally.

Nestled in the Gunbarrel neighborhood of Boulder, BCD’s 5.5 acre campus abuts Boulder County’s Twin Lakes open space, a haven for wetlands wildlife and crisscrossed by bike and pedestrian trails. We designed our campus with the specific needs of our students in mind. Each division (Preschool, Elementary, and Middle) is housed in its own building, and we constructed flexible common spaces knowing that our children’s needs change as they grow.

The Commons serves as the heart of our campus—a bright, collaborative space where ideas are sparked and community is nourished.

  • Home to two innovation labs and two art studios, this building is flooded with beautiful, natural light and offers stunning, panoramic views of the mountains, providing the perfect backdrop for creative problem-solving.

  • Inside The Commons, you will also find our bustling dining hall. We partner with Sage Dining Services, whose dedicated team works hard each day to provide our students and staff with fresh, nourishing, and allergy-aware meals. Every menu is thoughtfully designed to offer a wide variety of delicious options, fuel growing minds, and bring our community together over shared meals.

Our gymnasium is far more than just a sports complex—it is a dynamic hub for physical wellness and the arts. Designed to fuel both athletic passion and creative talents, this multi-purpose facility features:

  •  A full-sized basketball court and fully equipped locker rooms.

  • Indoor climbing walls to challenge and build confidence.

  • Two music studios and a performance stage where student creativity comes to life.
