Middle School to livestream CU Conference of World Affairs

BCD middle school students will be live streaming several sessions from this year’s CU annual Conference on World Affairs

The conference begins on Monday, April 10th, and is described as, “a hundred fascinating luminaries from the widest range of backgrounds gather in Boulder for what The New York Times calls ‘a week-long extravaganza of discussion and debate’ on more than 200 sessions over five days.”

Karen Blake, BCD MS History Teacher, has developed a list of appropriate sessions that relate to topics our students have studied or are studying at BCD. This list is referenced below. Parents are encouraged to explore the full schedule of sessions. A complete schedule can be found here.

Note: Teachers will be following the streams with our students. While we expect the content to be appropriate for middle school age students, we will exit the stream if the content is not age appropriate. For those reasons, it is recommended that parents participate with their children when accessing the streams from home.
