Board establishes The John Suitor Legacy Fund
The Board of Trustees of Boulder Country Day is pleased to announce the establishment of The John Suitor Legacy Fund, as a lasting tribute to John’s remarkable leadership and deep commitment to BCD.
The fund will officially launch at our 30th Annual Gala on May 3, 2025.
In its inaugural year, The John Suitor Legacy Fund will support the Inspire Teachers program, providing BCD's educators with:
• Enhanced salaries and compensation
• Professional development opportunities
• Expanded benefits – all in service of excellence and putting students first
When teachers are supported, inspired, and equipped to grow, students thrive. They become more engaged, curious, and confident in the classroom. This fund ensures that BCD attracts and retains exceptional educators so that our students can keep learning in a joyful and dynamic environment.
Over time, The John Suitor Legacy Fund is designed to grow and adapt, funding emerging priorities that reflect John’s spirit of service, gratitude, and unwavering belief in the power of education. It will remain a living expression of his legacy for years to come.
