Our Campus
Welcome to Boulder Country Day
Nestled in the Gunbarrel neighborhood of Boulder, BCD’s 5.5 acre campus abuts Boulder County’s Twin Lakes park, a haven for wetlands wildlife and crisscrossed by bike and pedestrian trails. We designed our campus with the specific needs of our students in mind. Each division (Preschool, Elementary, and Middle) is housed in its own building, and we constructed flexible common spaces knowing that our children’s needs change as they grow. Opened Fall 2024, our Commons Building houses a dining hall and the Center for Innovative Learning. Our play structures provide appropriate challenges for children of all ages and is a hub of activity during daily recess. Boulder Country Day School is a proudly independent institution serving students 2 ½ years old - 8th grade. In partnership with our outstanding faculty and committed families, we uphold the highest standard for our balanced educational experience. Through small class sizes and innovative engagement in a supportive environment, students at BCD learn to explore their strengths and apply them to the world.
