After School

Welcome to BCD's extended day experience. We offer a variety of ways for students to stay and engage on campus and enrich their learning.

Create Your Child's Extended Day Experience

We know that the hours in a school day and a work day don’t always line up, and that’s true even when life is going just as planned. Our after school programs provide additional learning opportunities that can enrich a student’s education while supporting a family’s daily schedule.

Build a schedule in After 3, Enrichment Classes, or both!

The image shows a group of children playing with various toys and blocks on the floor of what appears to be a classroom or community space, with adults present and engaged with the children.
A young girl with curly red hair is intently coloring at a table in a classroom setting, surrounded by other students engaged in various activities.
A young person, likely a child, is intently working on assembling or constructing something using cardboard pieces on the floor of what appears to be a classroom or similar indoor setting.

Daily After 3 at BCD

After3 is a fun extension of the BCD day from dismissal until 5:30 pm.

TK-8th After 3 offers flexible registration options and includes homework time, free play outside, facilitated activities, games, crafts, and Science Fridays.

Preschool After 3 includes outdoor play and organized indoor activities with specially trained preschool facilitators.

Enrichment Classes

Enrichment Classes are offered for students in TK-8th grade and begin after dismissal. Selections include programs such as Taekwondo, cooking, improv, drama, chess, Lego®, art, STEM, and so much more.

  • Mostly 3:30pm-4:30pm or 4:30pm-5:30pm options

Students enrolled in Enrichment classes will be added to the roster for After 3 on that day before and after class.

  • Enrichment classes vary throughout the year.
The image shows several individuals in white martial arts uniforms practicing techniques in what appears to be a training room or studio, with equipment and a speaker visible in the background.
Two young students, a girl and a boy, are working together on a project at a table in a classroom setting, surrounded by various school supplies and materials.
A group of children are engaged in a chess game, with an adult in a wheelchair assisting them, in what appears to be a classroom or community setting.
The image depicts a colorful, whimsical scene with a variety of cartoon-like characters and elements, including a winged creature with a yellow body and purple wings, a tree, and a building in the background.
