Student Experience

The BCD student experience is rooted in community and engagement and the understanding that they are part of something bigger.

Bulldog Families

Bulldog Families are grouping of students, one from each grade, that gather throughout the school year to perform projects and bonding exercises. The cross-grade relationships built through Bulldog Families benefit our youngest students in seeing the example of older students and our middle school students as they practice leadership skills.

Assemblies

BCD students perform and present on a regular basis. These opportunities allow them to share the unit learnings with their community and develop a sense of pride and comfort with public speaking.

Arts Week

Annually, BCD hosts visiting artists to engage student in the creative process and inspire them to stretch their own artistic abilities. Arts Week also includes a Student Art Show to showcase student work with the greater BCD community.
