Shields Fun Run

shields Fun RUn

The Shields Scholarship is named after former BCD Head of School, Mike Shields and his wife Roie, and annually BCD hosts the Shields Family Fun Run to support financial assistance at BCD. Annually in May, BCD holds the Shields Fun Run to support the Shields Scholarship. BCD families run, walk, and cheer as a community as we lift each other up.

the 2019 shields Fun Run will be held on May 10th

The Shield Fun Run is not a race, it is intended to live up to its name and be fun for all. There will be no results posted and no prizes for placings. In an effort to keep our event punctual and ensure fun for all, please sign up for the one run that best suits you and/or your child’s ability level.

Run start times are:
Pee Wee Run – 3:15pm (from the BCD back fields to parking circle to the east and back)
Single Lake Loop Run (1 mile) – 3:30pm
   Twin Lakes Run (1.5 miles) – 4:00pm

The registration fee for 2019 is $40.00 per participant. Please register each runner for one race only. You may register 4 runners at a time. If you wish to register additional runners, please perform a second registration request. Sorry for the inconvenience.

When you register, you may add an additional donation amount and even serve as a Bronze ($250), Silver ($500), or Gold ($1,000) level sponsor for this event.
