At BCD, we take our Gala themes seriously. Here is a glimpse of some of the outfits from Galas past.

Our new playground will be built to modern standards, allowing us to leverage the six key aspects of play proven through extensive research to benefit our children: balancing, spinning, brachiating (think monkey bars), sliding, climbing, and swinging. The new equipment will improve access and play, and allow for better supervision.

"When I first toured BCD 13 years ago, the playground was above and beyond any that I had seen in any public or private school.  Over the years, although we have made an improvement here and there, we have let other institutions catch up and even pass our vision for outdoor recreation. With the pending construction of our BCD Commons Building, the time is now to focus on our playground facility, and once again, set the bar for those who come before us.   A school that creates healthy minds and bodies can never be surpassed."
