Back to School Checklist
To do in Parent Square

- Submit Immunization Records (or exemption) - one for each child
- If you have a Preschool student, submit a General Health Appraisal Form - one for each child
- View class lists (to be posted by division Heads on ~August 7th)
- Sign up for a Hopes & Dreams conference. Registration form to be posted by Division Heads on ~August 7th
- If you have a MS student, complete the Outdoor Ed permission slip (to be posted to PSQ by Ms. Pierce in August)
To do in Alma

- Complete the Annual Form (one for each student)
- For instructions on how to login to Alma and access your forms, click HERE
- Review the 2026-27 Student and Family Handbook and acknowledge via the annual form
Medications
If your child has a life-threatening allergy, uses an inhaler, or will need medication while on campus:
- Review BCD's Health and Safety webpage for links to Inhaler, EpiPen, and Medication Administration forms
- Bring forms AND medications to Nurse Holly in the Administration Building on Aug 17th, 18th, or 19th.
At Home
- Review the 2026-27 Dress Codes at bouldercountryday.org/parents
- Audit your dress-code items and shop as needed
- BCD Used Dress Code Closet is temporarily closed and will reopen starting on August 3rd. Note: families receiving financial assistance may shop the Used Dress Code Closet for free
- Other vendors include Tommy Hilfiger, Lands' End, Squad Locker, The Children’s Place, and Target

BCD Launch Day (aka. First Day of School) - August 19th

Every BCD family is strongly encouraged to attend:
Robin Frank’s welcome presentation in the Commons 8:15am followed by a curated expo (a new and improved version of our Resource Fair which was previously held on Hopes & Dreams conference days)
- Pick up your ES carline number, family gift
- Resource tables for ParentSquare, Alma, After Care, Parents' Association, Parent Ambassador Network, etc
- Local, best-in-class kids' activity vendors from Boulder and the surrounding area.
