Before joining BCD, I spent most of my career in corporate environments. I am excited to join BCD and bring my marketing, fundraising and event planning experience from my volunteer work with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family (supporting lots of youth soccer, basketball and baseball teams), reading books, running, skiing and doing yoga. In the summer, many a weekend I can be found garage sale shopping for pieces to refurbish with a new coat of paint.
I have been working in the accounting field for the last 26 years. After graduating from the University of Colorado in 1990, I moved to California to work for a large oil and gas company, Chevron. I then found myself moving back to Colorado in 1995 and worked with Meridian Oil, KPMG, Johns Manville, and finally as an independent accountant before joining BCD.
I love Colorado with its beautiful sunsets, weather, mountains, and many outdoor activities. I have two teenage boys who are very active in sports, so I spend a lot of time at various sporting events. I have volunteered for a local football organization and league and currently am on the board of the Booster Club at our local high school.
I have 12 years of management experience in the health care industry. I like walking with my dog, travelling with my husband of 15-years, mountain activities, collecting nostalgic items (including woodland friends), designing costumes for loved ones, and eating foreign pastries… lots of foreign pastries.
Prior to working at BCD I owned and operated Decked Out Home and Business Maintenance, Inc. and worked as the Facilities Manager at First Lutheran Church in Longmont. I have over 20 years of experience doing building maintenance, rentals, property maintenance, landscape maintenance, and dealing with internal and external contractors. I moved to Longmont in 2001 from San Diego CA. I've been married for 22 years and have two awesome kids Meagan and Christopher. In my spare time I like spending time with my family and friends.
Before joining BCD I was working as an Event Coordinator in Boulder and graduated with a BA in Elementary Education from Champlain College. I am really excited to be back in the school environment and seeing great minds at work.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, running, live music and hanging by the river watching the hummingbirds.
I have been in a variety of administrative roles for more than 15 years in various office settings. Prior to BCD, I was a project assistant for a major storm water client in an environmental consulting firm in South Boulder.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, hiking, running, relaxing with a good movie, and spending time with my husband, deaf Australian Shepherd, and long-haired orange tabby.
I have worked as a teacher and TAG Advisor for BVSD as well as an Administrator and Program Manager at the YWCA of Boulder County. I love to spend time outdoors in our beautiful state and am always attending some kind of baseball activity with my son.
I am happiest when I am pursuing all my passions to some degree, and truly engaging in life. In addition to absolutely loving being a counselor, I am a runner, triathlete, artist jewelry designer, world traveler, wife and mother. When time permits I also do some songwriting and singing with my husband for movie soundtracks and commercials.

My career started in Television, working for a small News/Production company on Capitol Hill. During my 5-year experience I worked in various roles; editing tape, running camera, audio and teleprompters, handling satellite uplinks/downlinks, tape roll-ins and live shots. I participated in multiple studio productions, satellite media tours and covered numerous hearings. I also worked with E! Channel, Inside Edition, CNN and several government agencies. In 2000 I decided that I needed a change and transitioned into the IT world. I worked in the corporate sector as a Systems/Network Administrator for the last 18 years with the Richard Petty Driving Experience, Strategic Power Systems, Inc. and Cimtec Automation. I recently relocated to the area, leaving the East Coast and corporate world behind to join the amazing team here at BCD in beautiful Boulder, Colorado!
In my free time I really enjoy exploring the great outdoors; I’m very passionate about mountain biking and look forward to riding all the amazing trails that Colorado has to offer. I also enjoy movies, traveling, skiing, bowling, golf, tennis and soccer.
