Summer Camp

Boulder Country Day School (BCD) offers an exciting line up of summer programs, welcoming both BCD students as well as students from other schools.
Our summer Program is composed of two parts: 
  • Summer Day Camp (ages 3-8)
  • Summer Specialty Classes (ages 3-13)
Mix and match your summer program choices to build a custom schedule that meets your child’s interests and fits your family’s schedule and budget. No minimum requirement.

Day Camp Program

Students enrolled in Day Camp are welcomed into inviting classrooms and outdoor spaces designed to enhance age appropriate social, emotional, intellectual, and physical growth. Rich learning experiences promote active participation through arts, crafts, music, science, physical fitness, cooking, dramatic play, nature walks, and games.
Registration and payment for Day Camp is completed online.
Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Registration will open in February 2016.
Summer Day Camp Tuition:
  • $250.00/week

Specialty Classes

BCD offers summer specialty classes including basketball, soccer, all-sports camp, foreign language, Lego Engineering, chess, art, academics, cooking, and more.
Registering for summer specialty classes is easy!
Registration and payment is completed online.
Registration is taken on a first come, first served basis and some classes fill very quickly. Registration will open in February 2016.
BCD requires payment in full at the time of registration for all summer specialty classes. Refunds are not available after April 30, 2016.

Combining specialty classes with day camp:
Students who enroll in specialty classes are eligible to enroll in our day camp at a discounted rate (i.e. before and after camp care). 
  • Before Camp Add-On Option (8:00am-9:00am) - $50.00/week
  • Before AND After Camp Care Add-On Option (until 4:00pm) - $130.00/week
Before and after camp care spaces are limitedYou must register for this Add-On Option when you register for your specialty class. This is done through BCD's online system - even if the specialty class is offered by an outside vendor.

Class cancellation:
BCD reserves the right to cancel any summer specialty class that does not have sufficient enrollment. Full refunds are available for program cancellation due to low enrollment. You will be notified at least one week prior to the start date of class if the class is canceled.

Many of our classes are enrollment driven and unfortunately refunds for any are not available after April 30, 2016.

  • Are there any dates when the summer program is not open?

    BCD’s Summer Day Camp is not open June 29 – July 3, 2015. 
  • What happens if I need to cancel?

    Many of our classes are enrollment driven and unfortunately refunds for any are not available after April 30, 2015. Some of the classes are offered by outside vendors and those vendors may offer cancellation insurance or other cancellation policy rules. Please be sure to read the summer specialty course descriptions carefully.
  • Where do I drop my child off?

    • If your child is enrolled in BCD’s day camp, please drop off in BCD’s preschool building.
    • If your child is enrolled in a specialty class, please drop off in the classroom/building where his/her specialty class is held. We will have this information posted on building doors when you arrive.  
    • If your child needs supervision either before or after a summer specialty class, please plan to drop off and pick up your child in BCD’s preschool building.
