Our Campus

Welcome to Boulder Country Day

Nestled in the Gunbarrel neighborhood of Boulder, BCD’s 5.5 acre campus abuts Boulder County’s Twin Lakes park, a haven for wetlands wildlife and crisscrossed by bike and pedestrian trails. We designed our campus with the specific needs of our students in mind. Each division (Preschool, Elementary, and Middle) is housed in its own building, and we constructed flexible common spaces knowing that our children’s needs change as they grow. Our campus supports ample classroom space, two science labs (one for middle school and one for preschool/elementary school), art and pottery studios, two technology labs, and a library (staffed with a full-time librarian). The main stage in our full-sized gymnasium serves as the focal point for our weekly school-wide assemblies. From guest speakers to grade-level performances, we believe our students benefit from community gatherings and we provide every student with multiple opportunities to perform in front of their peers each year. Funded and built by our parents, our play structure provides appropriate challenges for children of all ages and is a hub of activity during daily recess. We invite you to take a virtual tour of our school and look forward to sharing it with you.
