The University of the Pacific women's basketball team received a commitment from a BCD graduate, who signed a national letter of intent this past Thursday. Ande Lampert will join the Tigers for the 2012-13 season.  Ande Lampert is a 2008 BCD alum. Ande was coached by BCD’s Athletic Director, Veronica Johns-Richardson.  If you wish to view the entire press release, please click here.

Two BCD alumni, Connor Mulshine and Mariah Wahl, were named as Commended Students in the 2012 National Merit Scholorship Program.  Approximately 34,000 Commended Students throughout the nation are being recognized for their exceptional academic promise.  Commended Students placed among the top five percent of more than 1.5 million students who entered the 2012 competition by taking the 2010 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.  Connor and Mariah will receive Letters of Commendation for their outstanding performance.

Congratulations to BCD alum, Chandler Reid, who recently led Centaurus High School to a Cross Country State Championship. Chandler finished 3rd at the State meet!
